This Acceptable Use Policy establishes the rules for websites, applications, content, and activities hosted through Bridge Web Host.

By using Bridge Web Host services, customers agree not to use our infrastructure in a manner that is illegal, abusive, harmful, fraudulent, or that creates an unreasonable security, performance, or reputation risk for Bridge Web Host, our customers, our infrastructure providers, or third parties.

1. Illegal Activity

Bridge Web Host services may not be used to conduct, promote, facilitate, or support activities that violate applicable local, state, federal, or international law.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their websites, content, products, services, and business activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.

2. Spam and Unsolicited Communications

Bridge Web Host services may not be used to send, distribute, facilitate, or support spam or unauthorized bulk communications.

Prohibited activities include:

  • Unsolicited bulk email
  • Purchased or improperly obtained mailing lists
  • Email address harvesting
  • Spam campaigns
  • Fraudulent or misleading email
  • Repeated communications to recipients who have opted out
  • Using hosted websites to collect information for spam campaigns
  • Operating services primarily intended to distribute unsolicited communications

Customers conducting legitimate email marketing are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent and complying with applicable anti-spam laws and regulations.

3. Malware and Malicious Software

Customers may not intentionally host, distribute, install, transmit, or facilitate:

  • Viruses
  • Malware
  • Ransomware
  • Trojans
  • Backdoors
  • Spyware
  • Keyloggers
  • Malicious scripts
  • Botnet software
  • Exploit kits
  • Credential-stealing software
  • Other malicious code

Bridge Web Host may immediately isolate, disable, quarantine, or remove malicious files when necessary to protect our infrastructure or other customers.

4. Hacking and Unauthorized Access

Bridge Web Host services may not be used to attack, probe, disrupt, compromise, or gain unauthorized access to another website, server, network, account, device, or computer system.

This includes:

  • Brute-force attacks
  • Password attacks
  • Vulnerability exploitation
  • Port scanning conducted without authorization
  • Denial-of-service attacks
  • Distributed denial-of-service attacks
  • Unauthorized penetration testing
  • Credential theft
  • Website defacement
  • Botnet command-and-control infrastructure

5. Phishing, Fraud and Impersonation

Customers may not use Bridge Web Host services for phishing, identity theft, fraudulent transactions, deceptive websites, credential harvesting, or impersonating another person, company, financial institution, government agency, or organization.

Websites reasonably suspected of phishing or similar fraudulent activity may be suspended immediately while the matter is investigated.

6. Adult and Pornographic Content

Bridge Web Host does not permit pornography, sexually explicit content, or websites primarily intended to distribute adult sexual content on our hosting infrastructure.

Prohibited content includes websites primarily offering or distributing pornographic images, videos, live streams, sexually explicit services, or similar adult material.

Content involving sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate material, or sexual content involving minors is strictly prohibited and may be reported to appropriate authorities when required by law.

7. Exploitation and Abusive Content

Bridge Web Host services may not be used to host or distribute content that facilitates human exploitation, trafficking, sexual exploitation, credible threats of violence, or other unlawful abuse.

8. Intellectual Property Infringement

Customers may not knowingly use Bridge Web Host services to distribute content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.

Customers are responsible for obtaining appropriate rights or licenses for content, software, images, themes, plugins, and other materials used on their websites.

Bridge Web Host may respond to valid intellectual property complaints in accordance with applicable law.

9. Pirated Software and Unauthorized Distribution

Customers may not use our services primarily to distribute:

  • Pirated software
  • Stolen digital content
  • Unauthorized copyrighted material
  • Cracked software
  • Stolen software licenses
  • Tools primarily designed to circumvent software licensing or access controls

10. Cryptocurrency Mining and Excessive Computing

Bridge Web Host hosting accounts may not be used for cryptocurrency mining or other computational activities that consume unreasonable server resources unrelated to normal website operations.

11. Excessive Resource Usage

Customers may not intentionally operate websites, scripts, applications, automated processes, or other services that unreasonably interfere with the performance, security, or availability of Bridge Web Host infrastructure or other customers.

If a legitimate website begins consuming resources beyond those appropriate for its hosting environment, Bridge Web Host will generally work with the customer to identify an appropriate solution or hosting configuration.

12. Server and Network Abuse

Customers may not attempt to circumvent hosting limitations, security controls, access restrictions, resource controls, monitoring systems, or other technical safeguards implemented by Bridge Web Host.

Customers may not knowingly use compromised WordPress installations, plugins, themes, accounts, or credentials to facilitate abusive or malicious activity.

13. Email Reputation and Server Reputation

Customers may not engage in activities reasonably likely to damage the IP reputation, domain reputation, email deliverability, security reputation, or network reputation of Bridge Web Host or its infrastructure.

We reserve the right to restrict outbound email or other network activity when necessary to protect our infrastructure and customers.

14. Security Incidents and Compromised Websites

A legitimate customer’s website may occasionally become compromised through no intentional action by the customer.

Bridge Web Host will not automatically treat an unintentional website compromise as an Acceptable Use Policy violation.

However, we may temporarily restrict, isolate, or suspend an affected website when necessary to prevent malware distribution, spam, attacks, data exposure, or damage to other systems.

We will make reasonable efforts to work with legitimate customers to identify and resolve security incidents.

15. Investigation of Abuse

Bridge Web Host may investigate suspected violations of this policy.

Customers agree to reasonably cooperate with investigations involving security incidents, abuse complaints, fraudulent activity, compromised websites, or threats to our infrastructure.

We may review relevant server logs, website files, network activity, and other technical information reasonably necessary to investigate suspected abuse or security incidents.

16. Suspension or Termination

Bridge Web Host reserves the right to suspend, restrict, isolate, or terminate services when reasonably necessary to:

  • Stop illegal or malicious activity
  • Protect customers or third parties
  • Prevent damage to servers or networks
  • Protect server or email reputation
  • Respond to security incidents
  • Comply with applicable law
  • Enforce this Acceptable Use Policy

Whenever circumstances reasonably permit, Bridge Web Host will attempt to contact legitimate customers and provide an opportunity to correct a violation.

Serious activities such as phishing, intentional malware distribution, fraud, attacks against other systems, or other clearly malicious conduct may result in immediate suspension or termination.

Suspected abuse involving a website hosted by Bridge Web Host may be reported to:

18. Changes to This Policy

Bridge Web Host may update this Acceptable Use Policy as technology, security threats, legal requirements, or our hosting services change.

The current version will be published on our website with an updated revision date.
