Cancellations

Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: August 30, 2026

Bridge Web Host understands that business needs change. Customers may cancel their hosting services at any time, subject to the terms below.

1. How to Cancel

To cancel your Bridge Web Host service, please submit a cancellation request through your account or contact our support team using the email address associated with your account.

Cancellation requests should include the website or domain associated with the hosting service being canceled.

For account security, Bridge Web Host may require verification before processing a cancellation request.

2. Cancellation Before Renewal

Hosting services automatically renew according to the billing cycle selected at the time of purchase.

To avoid being charged for the next billing period, cancellation requests must be submitted before the upcoming renewal date.

Once a cancellation request has been processed, automatic renewal for the canceled service will be discontinued.

3. Effective Date of Cancellation

Customers may request either:

  • Cancellation at the end of the current billing period, allowing the website to remain hosted until the existing paid term expires, or
  • Immediate cancellation, which may result in the website and associated hosting services becoming unavailable once the cancellation is processed.

Unless immediate cancellation is specifically requested, Bridge Web Host may keep the hosting account active through the end of the current paid billing period.

4. Payments and Refunds

Cancellation does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.

Payments for completed billing periods and services already performed are generally non-refundable except as specifically provided under the Bridge Web Host Refund Policy.

Prepaid hosting services remain available through the applicable paid service period unless immediate cancellation is requested.

5. Website Migration and Setup Services

White-Glove WordPress Migration, website setup, security remediation, malware removal, configuration work, and similar professional services involve work performed specifically for the customer.

Once this work has been completed or substantially performed, associated service charges are non-refundable.

6. Customer Website and Data

Before the hosting account is terminated, customers are responsible for obtaining copies of any website files, databases, email, content, or other information they wish to retain.

Upon request and while the account remains active, Bridge Web Host will reasonably assist customers with obtaining their WordPress website files and database for migration to another provider.

Cancellation of hosting does not transfer, sell, or otherwise affect the customer’s ownership of their website or content.

7. Data Removal After Cancellation

After hosting services are terminated, Bridge Web Host is not obligated to indefinitely retain website files, databases, backups, email, or other information associated with the canceled account.

Customer data may be permanently removed from active servers and backup systems according to our normal data-retention and backup procedures.

Customers should therefore obtain any required website data before the hosting service terminates.

8. Domains and Third-Party Services

Cancellation of Bridge Web Host hosting does not necessarily cancel domain registrations, software licenses, subscriptions, email services, or other products provided by third parties.

Customers remain responsible for managing any separately registered domains or third-party services associated with their website.

9. Accounts Suspended for Nonpayment

Failure to pay an outstanding hosting invoice may result in suspension and eventual termination of hosting services.

Suspension for nonpayment does not constitute a customer-requested cancellation and does not eliminate any outstanding balance owed for services already provided.

10. Accounts Terminated for Policy Violations

Bridge Web Host reserves the right to suspend or terminate services that violate our Terms & Conditions, Acceptable Use requirements, applicable law, or that present a security risk to our infrastructure or other customers.

Accounts terminated because of fraud, abuse, malicious activity, or material violations of our Terms may not be eligible for a refund.

11. Moving to Another Hosting Provider

Customers are free to move their website to another hosting provider.

We do not intentionally restrict access to customer-owned WordPress website files or databases solely because a customer has chosen to cancel their hosting service.

Any migration assistance beyond providing reasonable access to customer-owned website data may be subject to additional service charges.
